New Delhi: In a significant recognition of Indian policing expertise on the global stage, three IPS officers have been nominated as Senior Police Advisors for the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP). These officers will serve on secondment for a period of one year, strengthening India’s contribution to international peace and security.

The three nominated officers include:
- DIG Vineet Kapoor, currently posted in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (Batch 2010)
- DIG Manmohan Singh, posted with the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
- DIG Balwan Singh, also with the SSB
