IPS Vikash Burman has recently been mandated by the Ministry of Home Affairs to assume charge as the Deputy Director General (DDG) in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for a five-year tenure.
Officer Burman was recommended for the post on a deputation basis for five years, effective from the date of his assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
Mr. Vikash Burman is a 2008-batch Bihar cadre IPS officer who had earlier served as the Deputy Inspector General of the Saran range in Bihar.
