New Delhi – In a strategic leadership overhaul, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC), a Mini-Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has announced significant changes in its board of directors. The latest appointments and retirements are expected to influence key operational sectors including finance and catering.

Finance Division Sees Fresh Leadership

Rabindra Nath Mishra, IRAS (DIN: 09050821), has officially stepped down as Director (Finance) with effect from July 22, 2025. His cessation follows directives issued by the Railway Board under letter no. 2017/E(O)II/40/29.

In his place, Pradeep Kumar Mall has been appointed as the new Director (Finance) at IRCTC. The move aims to bring renewed focus to the corporation’s financial strategy as it navigates an evolving operational landscape.

Retirement in Catering Division

Another major change is the superannuation of Lokiah Ravikumar, Director (Catering Services), who will retire on July 31, 2025. His retirement has been confirmed by the Ministry of Railways through its letter dated July 22, 2025 (no. 2022/E(O)II/40/2).

To ensure continuity in the catering division, Manoj Kumar Sharma, IRTS, currently OSD/CS at IRCTC (on deputation), will take over as Director (Catering Services) with additional charge from August 1, 2025, until a permanent appointment is made.

Operational Realignment Ahead

The reshuffle comes at a crucial time as IRCTC continues to expand its tourism, finance, and catering services across India. With fresh leadership at the helm and experienced officers handling interim responsibilities, the PSU aims to strengthen its service delivery and operational excellence in the coming fiscal year.
