IREDA Announces Key Management Restructuring, Appoints Tusar Kant Parida as Key Managerial Personnel

Board approves leadership changes effective March 2, 2026; Amit Goel transitions to Business Development & Corporate Strategy as part of organizational restructuring.

New Delhi: The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has announced significant changes in its Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) and Senior Management structure following a Board of Directors meeting held on Monday. The decisions were taken based on the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and were disclosed in a regulatory filing to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited.

Tusar Kant Parida Designated as Key Managerial Personnel

The Board has designated Tusar Kant Parida, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) and Head of the Resource Group (including ALM), as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) with immediate effect from March 2, 2026.

Mr. Parida holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) from Utkal University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). With over 24 years of professional experience, he brings extensive expertise in finance, resource management, and corporate governance to his new role.

Amit Goel Transitions to Business Strategy Role

Meanwhile, Amit Goel, who previously served as General Manager (F&A) and KMP, has ceased to be a Key Managerial Personnel. He will now head the “Business Development & Corporate Strategy Group” and continue as a Senior Management Personnel of the company.

Senior Management Personnel Changes Effective March 2, 2026

As part of the organizational restructuring, the following officials have ceased to be designated as Senior Management Personnel (SMP):

  • Mala Ghosh Choudhury – General Manager (HR)
  • Durre Shahwar – General Manager (HR)
  • Shailendra Kumar Malviya – General Manager (Projects)
  • Rahul Kamal – General Manager (Projects)
  • Rajeev Kumar – Additional General Manager (Projects)
  • K P Philip – General Manager (Projects)

The company clarified that these changes are aligned with internal restructuring and updated policies related to Senior Management Personnel appointments and evaluations.

Regulatory Filing and Compliance

The regulatory disclosure was signed by Ekta Madan, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of IREDA, confirming that the changes comply with applicable corporate governance and listing regulations.
