20 IRS officers has been promoted to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes (C&IT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes). The central government has empanelled and approved their promotion against the panel years 2022 (Supplementary Panel) and 2023 (Regular Panel) on regular basis. Their posting will be decided by the Competent Authority till then they will take charge of the post on situational basis.
