1996 IRS-IT officer T Roumuan Paite, CMD of National Scheduled Tribes Finance & Development Corporation (NSTFDC), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has been given additional charge of MD, Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED).
As per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Paite’s appointment as the Managing Director of the TRIFED.
Effective from November 13, 2023, until November 12, 2024, or until the appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier, Paite will lead TRIFED alongside his current role at NSTFDC.
This decision underscores the government’s commitment to streamline tribal development initiatives and foster synergy between key agencies in the sector.
