The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Saturday, January 11, 2025, approved the empanelment of 154 officers for promotion to the grade of Commissioner of Income Tax (CIT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) for the panel year 2025.
These officers will now serve at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix, marking a significant milestone in their careers.
