In a significant bureaucratic development, the central government has appointed Sunil Kumar Yadav an Indian Revenue Services (IRS-IT) officer from 2010 batch as the Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Delhi. The decision comes after Mr. Yadav was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Revenue.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (26.04.2024), the competent authority has approved Mr. Yadav’s appointment to the coveted post for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
