Sunil Kumar Singh Assigned Member (Income Tax) Portfolio
Sunil Kumar Singh, an IRS officer of the 1992 batch and currently Member (Systems and Faceless Schemes) in the CBDT, has been given the additional charge of Member (Income Tax) following the retirement of Sanjay Bahadur.

Changes Follow Superannuation of Two Senior IRS Officers
The additional-charge arrangement follows the retirement of two 1989-batch IRS officers who were holding key portfolios in the CBDT.
Pankaj Kumar Mishra was serving as Member (Administration), overseeing important administrative functions, including human resource development, training and vigilance-related matters.
Sanjay Bahadur was Member (Income Tax), with responsibilities that included supervision of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions) and zonal oversight of Karnataka and Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
With Agarwal and Singh taking on the additional portfolios, the CBDT has made an interim redistribution of responsibilities among its serving Members.
