New Delhi: IRCON International Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has appointed IRSE (Indian Railway Service of Engineers) officer NC Karmali as Director (Works) on an additional charge basis, following the superannuation of former Director Parag Verma on April 30, 2025.
The Ministry of Railways issued an official order dated May 7, 2025, entrusting Karmali with the new role. He currently serves as Principal Executive Director (General Standards) at the Railway Board, and his appointment at IRCON will be effective from the date he assumes charge, remaining in force until further notice.
A 1992-batch officer, Mr Karmali brings over three decades of experience in infrastructure development, engineering standards, and project management across various capacities within the Indian Railways. Born on October 27, 1967, he is widely regarded for his technical acumen and leadership in the rail sector.
