Jharkhand Government Transfers 10 IPS Officers, Dr. Vimal Kumar Takes Over as SP Giridih

Dr. Vimal Kumar, previously removed from his post following the suspicious death of an ASI, has now been appointed as the SP of Giridih in a significant reshuffle of IPS officers across Jharkhand.

The state government of Jharkhand has initiated a major reshuffle, transferring 10 IPS officers, including Superintendents of Police (SPs) across five districts. The districts affected by these changes are Jamtara, Sahibganj, Godda, Giridih, and Latehar. One of the significant appointments is that of Dr. Vimal Kumar, who was removed from his previous post after the suspicious death of an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Ramgarh.

The key transfers are as follows:

Anjani Kumar Jha: Transferred from SP ACB to Deputy Director of the Jharkhand Police Academy, Hazaribagh.

Nidhi Dwivedi: Formerly SP CID, now appointed as SP Jamtara.

Anjani Anjan: Moved from SP Latehar to SP ACB.

Deepak Kumar Sharma: Transferred from SP Giridih to SP SCRB.

Amit Kumar Singh: Appointed as SP Sahibganj, previously serving as Commander of the Home Defense Corps and Fire Services.

Animesh Naithani: Transferred from SP Jamtara to SP Godda.

Nathu Singh Meena: Moved from SP Godda to SP SIB Special Branch.

Dr. Vimal Kumar: After waiting for a posting, has been appointed as SP Giridih.

Manish Toppo: Also awaiting a posting, now appointed as SP Special Branch.

Kumar Gaurav: Transferred from SP Sahibganj to SP Latehar.
