J&K: 89 Officers Transferred In A Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle, IAS Rahul Yadav Made Special Secy, Agri Production

The government of Jammu and Kashmir (UT) has recently mandated the transfer and posting of as many as 89 bureaucrats across the state. This major administrative reshuffle was orchestrated through a circular issued by the Jammu & Kashmir General Administrative Department (GAD).

Some of the transferred bureaucrats are:

Mr. Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather, 2013-batch IAS officer, last posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora, has been transferred and posted as Director, Floriculture, Parks and Gardens in Kashmir.

Mr. Majid Khalil Ahmad Drabu, 2013-batch IAS officer, last posted as Controller in the Legal Metrology Department, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, ICPS.

Mr. Sheikh Arshad Ayub, 2013-batch IAS officer, last posted as Inspector General of Registration, has been transferred and posted as the Director of Libraries.

Mr. Rahul Yadav, 2014-batch IAS officer, last posted as Commissioner in the Jammu Municipal Corporation and holding additional charge of the post of CE0, SPV Jammu City for implementation of Smart City Project, has been made Director of HADP, and Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department.

Mr. Ch. Mohd Yasin, 2015-batch IAS officer, last posted as Deputy Commissioner in Poonch, has been transferred and posted as Managing Jammu Power Distribution Director, Corporation Limited. He will also hold the additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited, till further orders.

Mr. Devansh Yadav, a 2016-batch IAS officer, has been posted as Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation. He will also hold the charge of the post of CEO, SPV Jammu City for the implementation of the Smart City Project, in addition to his duties, till further orders.
