The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a reshuffle of IAS officers, which will immediately assign key administrative roles across the Union Territory.
- Mr. Jatin Kishore, a 2020-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat with additional charge as Director, Information J&K, has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal.
- Mr. Shishir Gupta, a 2020-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, replacing Mr. Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar (JKAS), who will report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
- Mr. Nitish Rajora, a 2021-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, previously Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jammu (North), has been appointed as Director, Information J&K.
- Mr. Rakesh Kumar, a 2021-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, formerly Sub Divisional Magistrate, Hiranagar, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.
- Mr. Shubhankar Pratyush Pathak, a 2022-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, previously Sub Divisional Magistrate, Akhnoor, Jammu, has been transferred as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Uri, Baramulla, replacing Mr. Javid Ahmad Rather (JKAS), who will report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
These administrative changes aim to enhance governance efficiency and streamline public administration in Jammu and Kashmir.
