IAS officer K Moses Chalai has been given extension on Central deputation up to 31.05.2023. The 1990 batch officer of Manipur cadre will remain Secretary in the North Eastern Council Secretariat. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Chalai for a period from 22.04.2022 to 31.05.2023.
On the other hand Pawan Kumar Sain’s tenure on central deputation has also been extended. An IAS of 2005 batch and AGMUT cadre Mr. Sain posting as Joint Secretary in the Economic Advisory Council (EAC) to PM, NITI Aayog has been extended for a period of one year.
