Kalyani Sethuraman, an IRAS officer from the 1994 batch, has received a six-month tenure extension as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued an order specifying that her services as CVO of BEL will continue for six months or until the appointment of a regular CVO, whichever comes first. She currently serves as the full-time CVO of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and has been additionally holding the charge of CVO of BEL since February 15.
