Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday met the 2024 batch of probationary Indian Police Service (IPS) officers at his office in Vidhana Soudha, marking their first official visit to the state after completing training.
Congratulating the officers, the Chief Minister said they were entering a career of “great responsibility” and wished them success as they begin their public service journey in Karnataka.
The six IPS probationers allotted to the Karnataka cadre include –
- Bhanu Prakash J (Karnataka)
- Annanya Srivastav (Uttar Pradesh)
- Ishita Gupta (Uttar Pradesh)
- Megha Aggarwal (Uttar Pradesh)
- Pawar Shubham Suresh (Maharashtra)
- Ranu Gupta (Bihar)
Senior state officials attended the meeting, including Additional Chief Secretary Anjum Parvez, State Director General of Police (DGP) M A Saleem, and ADGP, Internal Security Division, Ravi.
The interaction marks an important step in the officers’ induction into various policing and administrative responsibilities across Karnataka.
