The state government of Kerala has appointed five IAS officers to ensure Industrial reforms. All the 14 districts have been divided among the officers. Their responsibility will be to supervise and ensure that reforms in industrial sector are implemented & accelerated.
The officers given the added the responsibility are : K Ellangovan (Principal Secretary, Industries), APM Mohammed Hanish (in charge of Ernakulam, Palakkad and Kozhikode), KSIDC MD MG Rajamanickam (Kottayam, Thrissur and Malappuram), director of industries and commerce S Harikishore (Thiruvananthapuram, Kannur, Kasaragod and Wayanad) and mining and geology director Imbasekhar (Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Idduki ).
This team will work under the leadership of K Ellangovan.
