New Delhi: In a recent administrative reshuffle, senior officers from the IPS and IAS have been assigned new responsibilities in Bihar and Gujarat, respectively.
Deepak Ranjan, IPS (Bihar cadre, 2012 batch), currently serving as Commandant of Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP) 3 in Bodhgaya, has been given additional charge as Commandant of BSAP-17, also located in Bodhgaya. This dual charge reflects confidence in his leadership and operational capabilities in managing critical law enforcement units in the region.
In Gujarat, C. C. Kotak, IAS (2018 batch), who was serving as Deputy Director at the Regional Training Centre of the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) in Mehsana, has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Director General of SPIPA in Ahmedabad. His new role will involve greater responsibilities in shaping administrative training and capacity building for civil servants in the state.
These appointments are part of routine cadre management to strengthen governance and enhance the delivery of public services.
