New Delhi: Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, emphasized the state’s commitment to becoming a global textile and garment manufacturing hub while addressing the BSL Global Outreach Summit 2025 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The summit, which brought together prominent industry leaders from India and abroad, served as a high-level platform to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s potential in driving India’s textile revolution.
A Global Platform for ‘Make in MP’ Vision
In his keynote speech, CM Dr. Yadav praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s transformative leadership, highlighting India’s rise from the 11th to the 4th largest global economy. He described the summit as a “platform of resolution and innovation,” bringing together buyers and sellers to shape the future of Indian manufacturing.
He presented two policy booklets to PM Modi—‘Virasat Se Vikas Ki Rah’ and ‘18 Months of Good Governance’—documenting MP’s strides in economic development, industrial growth, women empowerment, education, health, tourism, and infrastructure.

Roundtable with Industry Leaders: ‘Your Success is Our Success’
Dr. Yadav held one-to-one discussions and a roundtable meeting with key industrialists from the textile and garment sector. He stated – “Madhya Pradesh is fully prepared to fulfill every requirement of industrialists. Whatever standards you seek—we are ready to deliver better.”
The Chief Minister highlighted that Madhya Pradesh is already a major producer of cotton, including organic cotton with GOTS-certified farming clusters. He offered a vision of MP as an end-to-end value chain partner—from “farm to fabric.”
Major Incentives Announced for Industry Players
CM Yadav made a powerful pitch to attract investors:
- ₹6,000 per woman worker per month for 10 years in employment-oriented industries
- Direct subsidies for water, electricity, and infrastructure
- Permission requirements reduced from 29 to 10 for setting up industries
- All industry approvals via single window clearance system within 30 days
- All incentives directly credited to bank accounts for transparency and ease
He stressed Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) goals, promoting clean energy, organic cotton, water conservation, and sustainable production.
PM Mitra Park and the ‘Madhya Pradesh = Global Factory’ Model
With the upcoming PM Mitra Park, the state plans to scale textile operations at a global level. Dr. Yadav reaffirmed that MP is not only developing industries but also eco-conscious, future-ready manufacturing zones.
He invited investors to visit the state and see the ground realities before making investment decisions, ensuring them of “zero disappointment” and full government partnership.

BSL Summit: A Bridge Between India and Global Markets
The BSL Global Outreach Summit acted as a vital link between Indian producers and international buyers. Giants like Walmart and other global manufacturing groups were present at the event. CM Yadav also presented awards to leading entrepreneurs and innovators from the textile industry.
He noted, “We are creating an industry-based image for Madhya Pradesh. From cotton to yarn, fabric to readymade, we are creating an entire ecosystem. Our goal is to take ‘Made in MP’ to the world.”
