Congratulating the people of the state, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav described the achievement as a reflection of the government’s unwavering commitment to technology-driven governance, innovation, transparency, and citizen-centric public service.

The twin national awards have brought recognition to Madhya Pradesh’s efforts in leveraging technology to improve governance and service delivery. The Chief Minister said the achievement is not only a matter of pride for the government but for every citizen of the state who has contributed to strengthening the digital ecosystem.

The awards recognize innovative projects that have enhanced service delivery, improved transparency, and strengthened public trust through digital interventions. According to the Chief Minister, the recognition highlights Madhya Pradesh’s growing stature as a leader in e-governance and digital transformation.

He noted that these accomplishments are the result of collective efforts made by government departments, officials, employees, and citizens over the years.

Gold Award for e-Nagarpalika Cybersecurity Initiative

One of the state’s major achievements came through the Urban Development and Housing Department’s e-Nagarpalika platform, which received the prestigious Gold Award under the National e-Governance Awards 2026.

The recognition was awarded for the platform’s robust cybersecurity framework, which has played a crucial role in ensuring secure delivery of digital municipal services to citizens across the state.

The e-Nagarpalika initiative has emerged as a key component of Madhya Pradesh’s urban governance reforms by facilitating online access to municipal services while maintaining high standards of data security and digital trust.

Silver Award for AI-Based ‘Trinetra’ Surveillance System

Madhya Pradesh also received a Silver Award for the ‘Trinetra’ AI-based Video Surveillance System, implemented for the Mahakaleshwar Temple and the Mahakal-Rudrasagar Integrated Development Area in Ujjain.

The project uses artificial intelligence-enabled surveillance technology to enhance security management, crowd monitoring, and operational efficiency in one of the country’s most prominent pilgrimage destinations.

The award highlights the successful integration of advanced technologies into public infrastructure and demonstrates how artificial intelligence can be effectively used for citizen safety and governance.

Chief Minister Congratulates Officials and Employees

Dr. Mohan Yadav extended congratulations to all officials, employees, and stakeholders associated with both projects.

He stated that the awards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of those involved in conceptualizing, implementing, and managing these digital initiatives.

According to the Chief Minister, every individual who contributed to the success of these projects deserves recognition for helping Madhya Pradesh earn national acclaim.

Strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s Position in Digital Governance

The Chief Minister emphasized that Madhya Pradesh has consistently worked toward making government services more accessible, transparent, and efficient through technology.

He said the state has witnessed significant progress in recent years through initiatives focused on digital service delivery, administrative reforms, cybersecurity, and technology-enabled governance.

The national recognition reinforces Madhya Pradesh’s position among the leading states in adopting innovative governance solutions for the benefit of citizens.

Citizens Benefiting from Technology-Driven Services

Dr. Yadav highlighted that the government’s digital governance initiatives have directly benefited citizens by reducing procedural delays, improving transparency, and making public services more accessible.

The state’s focus on e-governance has helped create a more responsive administrative framework, ensuring that services reach people efficiently through online platforms and digital channels.

He said the government remains committed to expanding such initiatives to further improve citizen experience and governance outcomes.

Success in Swachh Survekshan Reflects Public Participation

The Chief Minister also referred to another recent achievement of the state in the Swachh Survekshan 2025-26 campaign.

Madhya Pradesh secured the top position in the country under the Citizen Feedback category, with more than 35.69 lakh citizens participating through online platforms.

According to Dr. Yadav, this accomplishment reflects the growing digital awareness and active participation of citizens in governance-related initiatives.

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0, the state adopted a comprehensive 360-degree outreach strategy, which successfully connected with more than 60 lakh people across Madhya Pradesh.

Public Participation Driving Digital Transformation

The Chief Minister observed that the state’s recent achievements clearly demonstrate how technology and public participation can work together to transform governance.

He emphasized that citizens have played a crucial role in the success of various digital initiatives by actively engaging with government platforms and services.

The growing adoption of digital tools by residents has strengthened transparency, accountability, and service delivery across departments.

Commitment to Transparent and Citizen-Centric Governance

Reiterating the government’s vision for the future, Dr. Mohan Yadav said Madhya Pradesh will continue investing in technology, innovation, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence to improve governance.

The state government remains focused on creating a transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric administrative system capable of meeting the evolving needs of the public.

With national recognition for both cybersecurity and AI-driven governance initiatives, Madhya Pradesh has further strengthened its reputation as a state committed to leveraging technology for public welfare and good governance.
