In the wake of one of the largest festivities in India, the government of Maharashtra has transferred as many as 29 IPS officers ahead of the state’s grand celebration of Ganapati Mahotsav.
The IPS Transferees are:
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Mumbai, Ms. Tejaswi Satpute (2012 batch) has been posted as the DCP in Pune city, while DCP Zone 9, Mr. Rajtilak Roshan (2013 batch) has been posted as Assistant Inspector General (Law and Order) in the state DGP office. DCP Pune City, Mr. Sandip Singh Gill recently became the Pune Superintendent of Police (Rural), Pune SP (rural) Mr. Pankaj Deshmukh (2011 batch) became the DCM of Mumbai, Nagpur DCP Mr. Nimit Goyal (2014 batch) became DCP Mumbai, and the incumbent State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) Commandant from Solapur, Mr. Vijay Chavan became the Principal of the Police Training Centre in Solapur.
Mr. Lohit Matani (2014 batch) has been transferred as Nagpur DCP, Mr. Sudhakar Pathrabe became the DCP of Mumbai. Mr. Sushant Singh (2019 batch) was appointed Commandant, and Mr. Abhaysinh Deshmukh became the Superintendent of arms supervision in Pune.
Mr. Gokul Raj G was appointed Commandant of SRPF in Navi Mumbai, IPS Ashish Kamble became the Additional SP Nandurbar, IPS Mahak Swami became the DCP Nagpur city, IPS Nithipudi Rao also became the DCP of Nagpur city, Mr. Pankaj Atulkar became Commandant of SRPF of Solapur, Mr. Singa Reddi Hrishikesh Reddi became Additional SP in Aheri in Gadchiroli district and IPS Rodas Pawar as Additional SP (Railways), Pune.
The government has further mandated IPS Dipak Agrawal to assume charge as Sub-Divisional Police Officer Nagpur (rural), IPS Dugal Darshan Prakashchand as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Akkalkua (Nandurbar), IPS Harshvardhan BJ as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Pusad (Yavatmal), Mr. Jitan Beniwal as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Jintur (Parbhani), IPS Navdeep Agrawal as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Washim sub-division, IPS Shubham Kumar as Sub-Divisional Police Officer Achalpur (Amravati), Ms.Vimala M as Sub-Divisional Police Officer in Sangli city and Ms. Vrushti Jain as Sub-Divisional Police Officer Umred (Nagpur).
