In a big move in bureaucracy, th Maharashtra government has been transferred four senior IAS officers from their current key roles. 1988-batch IAS officer Ashish Kumar Singh has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (Accounts & Treasury) in the Finance Department. He was Additional Chief Secretary (Transport and Ports).
While 1993-batch IAS officer Abha Shukla has been posted as Principal Secretary (Energy) in the Industries, Energy & Labour Department. She was principal secretary (Accounts & Treasury) in the Finance Department,
1994-batch IAS officer Dinesh T Waghmare has been posted as Chairman-Managing Director of Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited. He was principal secretary (Energy), Industries, Energy & Labour Department.
1996-batch IAS officer Parrag Jain Nainutia, who is currently Principal Secretary (Textiles), Co-operation, Marketing & Textiles Department, will be Principal Secretary (Transport & Ports) in the Home Department, with additional charge as Principal Secretary (IT), General Administration Department.
