The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has cancelled the transfer of two IAS officers that was originally ordered in October 2024.
According to a revised order issued by the MHA on Friday, the transfer of Mr. Saugat Biswas, a 2006-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, from Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu & Kashmir, and Ms. Yasha Mudgal, a 2007-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, from Jammu & Kashmir to Puducherry, has been cancelled.
The notification states that this is a partial modification of MHA’s earlier order dated October 17, 2024. Apart from the reversal of these two transfers, the rest of the order remains unchanged.
