The Purpose of the National Green Hydrogen Mission

Launched to promote the production and use of green hydrogen, the National Green Hydrogen Mission is a key part of India’s larger strategy to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and significantly lower carbon emissions. Green hydrogen is expected to play a vital role in the country’s clean energy future by supporting sectors such as transportation, industry, and power generation.

The mission focuses on developing a comprehensive ecosystem that fosters innovation, infrastructure development, and widespread adoption of green hydrogen technologies. The selected logo will serve as a powerful symbol of this vision, appearing on all official communications and campaigns related to the mission.

Public Involvement in India’s Clean Energy Journey

The logo contest represents MNRE’s efforts to actively involve the public in the country’s clean energy initiatives. By inviting citizens to contribute to the branding of such an important mission, the Ministry hopes to generate awareness and enthusiasm around green hydrogen and sustainable development.

Participants are encouraged to design logos that reflect themes of innovation, environmental sustainability, and India’s self-reliance, capturing the essence of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

Submission Guidelines and Process

Detailed information regarding eligibility, submission criteria, and other guidelines are available on the MNRE’s official website.
