Bhopal: The Home Department of the Madhya Pradesh Government has issued fresh transfer orders for 18 police officers, including 10 probationary Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and 8 State Police Service officers. The order is part of the routine administrative reshuffle aimed at streamlining law enforcement responsibilities across the state.
10 Probationary IPS Officers Transferred
According to the official notification, 10 probationary IPS officers, currently serving in the role of Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP) in various districts, have been shifted to new postings. These officers are undergoing their field training or early-career assignments and are being moved as part of the structured cadre management system.
2022 batch Gaurav Pandey has been transferred from ASP Rewa to SDOP, Singrauli. While IPS Mini Shukla posted in Rajgharh.
Their new postings span multiple districts and are designed to enhance field exposure and administrative experience in diverse law and order environments. Officer’s Name given below-

8 State Police Service Officers Also Shifted
In addition to the IPS officers, the government has also ordered the transfer of 8 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)-level officers from the State Police Service. These officers were previously functioning in key field roles such as:
- Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP)
- City Superintendent of Police (CSP)
- DSP (Rural or Urban divisions)
- Acting Deputy SP
These transfers are aimed at balancing experience, strengthening law enforcement leadership at the sub-divisional and urban policing levels, and ensuring optimal use of available personnel.

Administrative Goal Behind the Transfers
A senior official from the Home Department stated that such transfers are part of a routine reshuffling process and are intended to maintain efficiency and service delivery in the state’s policing structure. With many of these officers still in the early stages of their careers, the movement is seen as a critical step in their field training and exposure to varied challenges.
The officers are expected to take charge of their new postings immediately, and district SPs have been instructed to facilitate smooth transitions.
