Ms. A. Srija, an officer of the Indian Economic Service (IES) from the 1996 batch, has been granted an upgradation to the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) at Level 15, equivalent to the rank of Additional Secretary. This promotion, effective from November 6, 2023, recognizes her exemplary service and contributions to the Ministry of School Education & Literacy, where she currently serves as the Economic Adviser.
In her new role, Ms. Srija will continue to drive key educational policies and initiatives, leveraging her extensive experience in economic planning and analysis. Her leadership is expected to further enhance the ministry’s efforts in improving literacy rates and educational outcomes across the country.
