Namrata S Kumar, a 1997-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Latvia. Currently serving as the Ambassador of India to Slovenia, she is set to assume her new role in Latvia soon.
In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs announced the appointment, stating, “Ms. Namrata S. Kumar, presently Ambassador of India to Slovenia, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Latvia.”
