New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has received multiple work orders worth approximately ₹144.98 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST), from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
The company informed the stock exchanges that the orders were received in the ordinary course of business. The projects cover construction, repair, renovation and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services across different locations.
Key NBCC Work Orders Worth ₹144.98 Crore
The newly awarded projects include:
- NEEPCO: ₹11.21 crore for PMC services for a township project in Shillong.
- SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant: ₹9.05 crore for upgradation, repair and maintenance of 500 residential quarters.
- SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant: ₹55.91 crore for external repair and painting of 654 building blocks.
- SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant: ₹23.48 crore for construction of a shed with a 25-tonne EOT crane facility.
- SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant: Another ₹23.48 crore order for a similar shed and crane facility.
- Enforcement Directorate, Bhubaneswar: ₹5.86 crore for interior renovation and furnishing of its new office premises.
- DVC: ₹15.99 crore for construction of an officers’ dormitory building at Mayabazar, DTPS, Durgapur.

₹55.91 Crore SAIL Order for Bokaro Township
The largest individual order, valued at ₹55.91 crore, has been awarded by SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant.
The project involves comprehensive external repair and painting of 654 building blocks in sectors 2, 3, 8, 9 and 11 of the Bokaro Steel City Township in Jharkhand.
The project is part of the infrastructure maintenance and improvement works at the township.
SAIL Awards Two ₹23.48 Crore Shed Construction Orders
NBCC has also received two separate orders worth ₹23.48 crore each from SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant.
The projects involve construction of 250 × 30 metre sheds equipped with 25-tonne revised overhead travelling (EOT) crane facilities.
The sheds will be developed in the General Stores Area of the MM-Stores Department at the Bokaro Steel Plant.
In addition, SAIL has awarded NBCC a ₹9.05 crore contract for comprehensive upgradation, repair and maintenance of 500 residential quarters in the Bokaro Steel City Township.
NEEPCO Awards ₹11.21 Crore Shillong Township PMC Order
NBCC has received an additional ₹11.21 crore order from NEEPCO for Project Management Consultancy services for a township project at Umsawli, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya.
The PMC assignment covers the project from concept to commissioning and relates to the development of a township on 21.66 acres of land acquired by NEEPCO.
The total project value is ₹141.79 crore, of which ₹130.58 crore had already been disclosed by NBCC on April 29, 2025. The latest ₹11.21 crore represents the additional value now communicated by the company.
Enforcement Directorate Gives ₹5.86 Crore Office Renovation Order
NBCC has also secured a ₹5.86 crore order from the Enforcement Directorate’s Bhubaneswar Zonal Office.
The contract involves interior renovation and furnishing works at the agency’s new office premises in Bhubaneswar.
The project adds to NBCC’s portfolio of government construction, renovation and infrastructure-related works.
DVC Awards ₹15.99 Crore Dormitory Project
Another significant order worth ₹15.99 crore has been awarded by Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
The contract is for the construction of an officers’ dormitory building at Mayabazar, DTPS, Durgapur.
The project will add to NBCC’s ongoing work in institutional and infrastructure construction.
Projects Spread Across Multiple Locations
The latest orders cover different types of construction and infrastructure activities across Meghalaya, Jharkhand and Odisha, along with the DVC project in Durgapur.
The projects include:
- Township development and PMC services
- Residential quarter repair and maintenance
- External building repair and painting
- Construction of industrial sheds
- EOT crane facilities
- Government office renovation and furnishing
- Officers’ residential infrastructure
NBCC stated that all the contracts are domestic projects and fall under Project Management Consultancy and construction works.
No Related-Party Transactions
According to the company’s disclosure, none of the entities awarding these contracts are related parties of NBCC.
The company also stated that the work orders have been received in the ordinary course of business. The filing did not specify the execution timelines for the individual projects.
NBCC Share Price
Following the announcement, shares of NBCC (India) Limited ended at ₹80.60 on the BSE on September 15, down ₹2.45, or 2.95%. The new orders add to NBCC’s project pipeline across government, public sector and infrastructure-related segments.
