New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise, has announced the award of multiple work orders totaling ₹319.78 crore, reinforcing its strong presence in India’s construction and infrastructure sector. The contracts span residential, strategic infrastructure, and educational projects, highlighting NBCC’s diversified project portfolio and project management expertise.
Executive Housing Complex for Oil India in Assam
The largest of these contracts, valued at ₹227.99 crore (excluding GST), involves the construction of an Executive Housing Complex for Oil India Limited in the DX Area at Duliajan, Assam. This turnkey project constitutes roughly 71% of the total contract value and underscores NBCC’s proven capabilities in developing high-quality residential infrastructure for public sector enterprises.
Scope of work includes comprehensive project management consultancy, construction, and delivery of the housing complex as per client specifications.

Strategic Bridges in Meghalaya Along the Indo-Bangladesh Border
NBCC has also secured a contract worth ₹83.76 crore (excluding GST) from the Ministry of Home Affairs for the construction of two critical bridges in Meghalaya along the Indo-Bangladesh border:
- Bridge over River Hari: 423 meters in length
- Bridge over River Luva: 206 meters in length
These projects are strategically significant for border connectivity and security infrastructure, highlighting NBCC’s competence in handling large-scale, high-impact civil engineering projects.
Startup Incubation and Educational Infrastructure in Patna
In Bihar, NBCC has been awarded a ₹8.03 crore (excluding GST) project by the Collectorate, Patna to develop dedicated startup incubation spaces and public policy centers at the Chandragupt Institute of Management. This project reflects NBCC’s diversification into educational infrastructure, supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and policy development initiatives.
Strategic Significance and Business Impact
All three contracts are domestic, executed in the ordinary course of business, and follow arm’s length principles, with no related-party involvement. These orders strengthen NBCC’s order book, enhance its footprint across Assam, Meghalaya, and Bihar, and demonstrate its ability to deliver residential, strategic, and institutional projects efficiently.
