NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has once again delivered a strong performance by securing an ‘Excellent’ rating in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) evaluation for the year 2024–25. The company scored 97.58 marks, reflecting its high standards in project execution, quality, sustainability and corporate governance. This is the second year in a row that NBCC has achieved the top rating, having earned an ‘Excellent’ grade in 2023–24 as well.

The back-to-back recognition highlights NBCC’s consistent growth and its ability to handle complex and large-scale infrastructure projects across India and abroad.

Strong Performance Across Key Sectors

NBCC has built a solid reputation in areas such as redevelopment, Project Management Consultancy (PMC), real estate development and overseas projects. Over the years, the company has successfully delivered several challenging projects while maintaining strict timelines and quality standards. Its focus on safety, efficient project management and transparency has played a key role in earning trust from clients and government agencies.

The company has also shown strong commitment to sustainable construction practices. Many of its projects follow green building norms, promote energy efficiency and make responsible use of natural resources. NBCC has steadily adopted modern construction technologies to improve productivity and reduce environmental impact, aligning its work with global best practices.

Key Role in Government’s Urban Development Vision

NBCC continues to be a major contributor to flagship government programmes, especially in the redevelopment of government housing and office complexes. These projects support planned urban growth and help modernise public infrastructure. The company’s work fits closely with the government’s broader vision of a Viksit Bharat, where cities are better planned, more efficient and environmentally sustainable.

The latest MoU rating also reflects the dedication and professionalism of NBCC’s employees. Their collective effort has helped the company maintain high performance levels despite the scale and complexity of its operations. The recognition further strengthens confidence among stakeholders, clients and partner organisations.

Looking ahead, NBCC is well placed for future growth. With a strong order book and a clear focus on redevelopment projects, PMC works, PSU land monetisation, real estate development and overseas expansion, the company is set to play an important role in India’s infrastructure and urban transformation journey. The consistent ‘Excellent’ ratings underline NBCC’s position as a reliable and capable public sector enterprise contributing to nation-building.
