NBCC Signs MoU with National Horticulture Board for ₹42.37 Crore International Potato Centre Project in Agra

State-owned NBCC strengthens its infrastructure portfolio with a key horticulture development project signed on 17 November 2025.

Agra: Shares of state-owned NBCC (India) Ltd were in focus after the company announced the signing of two significant agreements, including a major construction project with the National Horticulture Board (NHB). The civil construction PSU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NHB for the development of the International Potato Centre in Agra along with related infrastructure works, valued at approximately ₹42.37 crore.

MoU Signed for Key Horticulture Infrastructure Project

The MoU was officially signed on 17 November 2025, in the presence of senior officials from both NBCC and the National Horticulture Board. The upcoming International Potato Centre is expected to serve as an advanced research and development hub dedicated to improving potato cultivation, storage, and productivity across India.

The project includes civil works, design and development of research facilities, and associated infrastructure that will support NHB’s broader mission of enhancing horticultural growth and innovation.

NBCC Expands Footprint in Government-led Development Projects

With this agreement, NBCC continues to strengthen its position as a trusted executing agency for major government infrastructure projects. The company has been actively securing assignments across sectors such as housing, research institutes, redevelopment, and horticulture infrastructure—underlining its strategic importance in national development initiatives.

The newly signed MoU further enhances NBCC’s project portfolio and reinforces its role in supporting sectoral advancement through efficient construction and project management expertise.
