The agreement, formalized in the presence of NHAI Chairman Mr. Santosh Kumar Yadav and Mr. Kuruvilla P.C., Associate Vice President & Business Head of HLL Lifecare Limited, aims to bolster NHAI’s Incident Management System (IMS) for faster response times and improved medical support.

Key initiatives under this MoU include:

  • Trauma Centres & Emergency Stabilization Centers along highways for immediate medical assistance.
  • Geo-tagging & mapping of health facilities integrated with ambulance services.
  • Deployment of state-of-the-art ambulances equipped with Basic Life Support (BLS) systems for real-time tracking and emergency response.
  • Training programs for Toll Plaza staff on basic life support, stress management, and emergency handling.
  • Health screening camps for truckers and highway users, offering eye tests, tuberculosis screenings, HIV/AIDS testing, and oral cancer screenings.

A dedicated Technical Support Unit will be set up to oversee these initiatives in collaboration with NHAI officials.
