NHPC Leadership Applauds Project Teams

Mr. Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Power and the Governments of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam for their continued support. He commended the dedicated efforts of the Subansiri Lower Project team, led by Mr. Rajendra Prasad, Executive Director, along with officials at NHPC’s Corporate Office.

Mr. Gupta highlighted that the successful commissioning of the units reflects NHPC’s technical expertise and execution capability, and will help ensure the timely commissioning of the remaining units of the project.

Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects), congratulated the site and corporate teams for achieving the milestones, while Mr. Rajendra Prasad acknowledged the support of executing agencies including GE Vernova, BGS-SGS-SOMA, TREL, and PEL, as well as local stakeholders and communities.

Strategic Project for Northeast and National Power Needs
