New Delhi: Nine officers from the Punjab Police Service (PPS) have been promoted to the Indian Police Service (IPS) on a probation period of one year. All officers have been allocated the Punjab Cadre.
Select List 2019
The officers from the 2019 Select List who have been inducted into the IPS are:
- Mandhir Singh – 02 December 1969
- Snehdeep Sharma – 05 October 1968
- Sandeep Goel – 21 September 1967
- Jasdev Singh Sidhu – 18 December 1968
- Sandeep Kumar Sharma – 22 December 1969
Select List 2021
From the 2021 Select List, the promoted officers include:
- Gurpreet Singh – 23 September 1967
- Rupinder Singh – 25 September 1967
- Sarabjit Singh – 27 December 1968
- Harpreet Singh Jaggi – 01 May 1969
These promotions mark a significant career milestone for the officers, who will now serve in the IPS with the Punjab Cadre following their one-year probation.
