New Delhi: As part of its ongoing community welfare initiatives, NTPC Bongaigaon has made a significant contribution to the well-being of local children by providing essential winter clothing and school shoes to 88 students of Bhumki LP School in Kokrajhar, Assam. This thoughtful gesture, led by the Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, aims to bring warmth and comfort to the children as the winter season approaches.

The distribution program was spearheaded by Kasturi Maitra, President of Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, along with club members and key officials from the HR Department and the CSR Wing of NTPC Bongaigaon. The event saw a joyful gathering of students, teachers, and community members as the children received warm sweaters and school shoes that will not only protect them from the cold but also support their education by ensuring they attend school in comfort.
