NTPC Bongaigaon (750 MW) has been awarded the Public Sector Utility – National Energy Efficient Team title at the National Efficiency Awards 2025. The recognition was conferred by the Mission Energy Foundation during the 7th Annual Reducing Net Heat Rate Conference & Awards held in Goa.
The award acknowledges NTPC Bongaigaon’s outstanding achievements in enhancing energy efficiency in the above 100 MW category. The plant has consistently implemented innovative strategies and advanced technologies to improve performance and promote sustainable power generation.
Receiving the award on behalf of NTPC Bongaigaon, Mr. Rakesh Kumar, AGM (EEMG), emphasized the plant’s continued commitment to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. The station remains dedicated to adopting best industry practices, reinforcing NTPC’s mission of driving energy efficiency and ensuring national energy security.
