In a pioneering move, the Bongaigaon branch of the Maharatna PSU National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) released a film titled “A Symphony of Sustainability” to celebrate a nexus between environmental stewardship and industrial harmony.
This five-minute-long film, upholding NTPC Bongaigaon’s dedication to preserving the natural environment and promoting ecological balance, was released by Mr. Sudip Nag, the RED (ER-I and ER-II), during his visit to the NTPC Bongaigaon. This creation, a visual journey through the vibrant biodiversity fostered by NTPC Bongaigaon, beautifully illustrates the PSU’s commitment to the harmonious co-existence of industrial progress and environmental sustainability.
It is pertinent to mention that NTPC Bongaigaon has been nurturing over 65 varieties of migratory birds in and around its ash dyke and township, highlighting the company’s adherence to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) parameters. This state-owned enterprise exemplifies how industrial development can go hand-in-hand with ecological preservation and how continuous efforts in environmental conservation can bear fruits in the long run.
