NTPC Renewables Hosts Lenders Meet to Strengthen Financial Partnerships for 60 GW RE Target

The Finance Team of NTPC Renewables Limited (NREL) organized a Lenders Meet on February 7 at the Renewables Building in Greater Noida, bringing together leading banks and financial institutions to discuss strategic collaborations and financial support. The event was aimed at securing funding to help NTPC Renewables achieve its ambitious target of 60 GW of renewable energy (RE) capacity by FY’32.

In his welcome address, NREL’s Chief Financial Officer Pushpendra Tyagi highlighted the vision of NTPC’s top leadership, including the Chairman and Managing Director, Director (Finance), Director (Projects), and CEO. He emphasized their commitment to driving India’s renewable energy growth and outlined a strategic roadmap to achieve the 60 GW RE target, stressing the importance of strong financial partnerships.

Sector Insights & Growth Potential

During the event, India Ratings, a leading rating agency, provided an in-depth analysis of the power sector, discussing growth opportunities and challenges in renewable energy, with a specific focus on NTPC Renewables’ market positioning and potential.

The NTPC Renewables team also showcased ongoing projects and future expansion plans, reinforcing their commitment to sustainable energy solutions. The presentation aimed to enhance transparency and build confidence among lenders regarding NTPC Renewables’ growth trajectory.

Interactive Session & Investor Confidence

Senior officials, including DMR Panda, Chief General Manager at NTPC Renewables, actively engaged with representatives from banks and financial institutions, addressing their queries in a comprehensive Q&A session.

The Lenders Meet was a key initiative to strengthen investor relations and secure financial backing for NTPC Renewables’ ambitious projects, aligning with India’s national renewable energy goals. The event reaffirmed NTPC Renewables’ position as a leading force in India’s clean energy transition.
