The Competent Authority has approved the premature repatriation of Ms. Uma Nanduri, a 1993-batch Odisha cadre Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer, from her position as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture. This move will allow her to avail the benefit of promotion in her parent cadre.
During her tenure at the Ministry of Culture, Ms. Nanduri played a key role in various policy initiatives aimed at promoting and preserving India’s cultural heritage. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping programs that support the nation’s rich traditions and artistic legacy.
