Leadership Update: PESB Recommends Rajeev Khillan for Director (Projects) Post at MECON Limited

New Delhi: The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has officially recommended Mr. Rajeev Khillan for the position of Director (Projects) at MECON Limited, a Schedule A public sector enterprise. The recommendation came after a competitive selection meeting held today at 3:30 PM, where a total of ten applicants were interviewed for the prestigious post.

Mr. Khillan’s Current Role and Experience

At present, Mr. Rajeev Khillan holds the position of Chief General Manager (CGM) for the NALCO Project in Damanjodi. In addition to this critical role, he is entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the operations of MECON Bengaluru, a key unit of MECON Limited. His dual role underscores his extensive expertise in project management and execution within public sector undertakings.

The PESB’s formal recommendation recognizes Mr. Khillan’s proven leadership capabilities, technical proficiency, and his successful track record in managing complex projects. His appointment as Director (Projects) is expected to bring strategic vision and enhanced execution capability to MECON Limited’s project portfolio.

Next Steps: Awaiting Final Appointment Approval

Following the PESB recommendation, MECON Limited is now awaiting final government approval to officially appoint Mr. Khillan as the Director (Projects). Once confirmed, Mr. Khillan will take charge of leading the company’s project execution efforts, overseeing planning, implementation, and delivery of key projects aligned with MECON’s growth objectives.
