TCIL Wins HR Excellence Award at Fortune Leadership Awards 2025 for Outstanding People-Centric Reforms

The award recognises TCIL’s transformative HR practices, including digital integration, merit-based systems, and employee development initiatives aligned with Mission Karmayogi and national digital goals.

New Delhi: Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), a Mini Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Communications, has been conferred with the prestigious HR Excellence Award at the Fortune Leadership Awards 2025. The award ceremony was held at Radisson Blu Plaza, Delhi, recognising TCIL’s exceptional human resource practices that focus on innovation, employee development, and inclusivity.

The award was presented by Dr. Dinesh Upadhyay, Former Member, Ministry of AYUSH, and Ms. Nethrapal (IRS). It was received on behalf of TCIL by P. Suresh Babu, Chief General Manager (HR), in the presence of prominent industry leaders and policymakers.

Transformative Reforms Aligned with Mission Karmayogi

Between 2021 and 2025, TCIL implemented a series of far-reaching HR reforms in line with the Government of India’s Mission Karmayogi, aimed at building a future-ready, empowered workforce. Key initiatives included:

  • Introduction of a comprehensive HR policy
  • Department-wise restructuring to enhance accountability
  • Merit-based promotion systems
  • Timely Departmental Promotion Committees (DPCs)
  • A performance-linked management framework
  • Digital transformation through e-Office and ERP platforms

These reforms have significantly contributed to efficiency, transparency, and improved organisational outcomes.

Global Certifications and Capacity Building

Demonstrating a strong commitment to skill development, TCIL has facilitated the acquisition of international certifications for 58 of its executives in critical domains such as cybersecurity, networking, and auditing. This initiative has strengthened the company’s project execution capabilities, increased efficiency, and contributed to sustained business growth.
