New Delhi: Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) has commenced a Postal Ballot process through remote e-voting to seek shareholder approval for the final extension of tenure for two key whole-time directors. The exercise is being conducted in compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (Regulation 30), and recent Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) circulars, ensuring a fully digital and secure voting process.
Details of the Proposed Tenure Extensions
The Postal Ballot seeks approval for the re-appointment of:
- Mr. Akshay Kumar Singh, Managing Director & CEO, for a one-off final extension from February 1, 2026, to May 12, 2027.
- Mr. Pramod Narang, Director (Technical), for a one-off final extension of two years, from November 26, 2025, to November 25, 2027.
These extensions are aimed at ensuring continuity in leadership and the smooth execution of PLL’s ongoing and upcoming projects in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector.

E-Voting Process and Timeline
The e-voting facility is being provided by the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL). The voting period is scheduled to begin on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. (IST) and conclude on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (IST).
Only members listed on the register as of the cut-off date, December 5, 2025, are eligible to vote. The company has ensured that the Postal Ballot notice is sent electronically, and members are encouraged to register their email addresses with the company or depositories to participate.
The results of the e-voting will be scrutinized and announced on or before Tuesday, January 13, 2026. If the resolutions are approved by the requisite majority, they will be deemed passed on the last date of the voting period, January 10, 2026.
