State-owned Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited announced the establishment of a special purpose vehicle (SPV), Kakinada Transmission Ltd, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL). The SPV has been created to develop the transmission system for proposed green hydrogen and green ammonia projects in the Kakinada area under Phase-I.
The project will be transferred to the successful bidder after the completion of the bidding process, with the selected bidder taking responsibility for its development.
This initiative marks a significant step towards advancing green hydrogen and ammonia projects in Andhra Pradesh, highlighting PFC’s commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development.
