New Delhi: Prashant Kumar Meena, an Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officer of the 2011 batch, has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner for the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Delhi. Currently serving as the Joint Mission Director at the Ordnance Factory in Khamaria, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Prashant Kumar Meena will now take on a significant role in advancing education initiatives for tribal students.
His appointment is made under the Central Staffing Scheme, and he will serve in the new position until March 31, 2026.
Prashant Kumar Meena’s wealth of experience in management and operations is expected to contribute to the continued development of NESTS’ efforts towards empowering tribal communities through education.
