New Delhi: In a significant expansion of the Bombay High Court’s judicial strength, the President of India has appointed fourteen advocates as Additional Judges, following consultation with the Chief Justice of India.

The Bombay High Court is one of the busiest in the country, handling an extensive volume of cases across Maharashtra and Goa. The appointment of fourteen new judges is expected to help ease the caseload and improve efficiency in the delivery of justice.

Constitutional Approval
The appointments were made under the provisions of the Constitution of India. The official notification highlighted that the President acted after due consultation with the Chief Justice of India, in line with established procedure for judicial appointments.
