RITES Limited, a leading engineering consultancy and project management organization under the Ministry of Railways, has secured a major contract from the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).
The Rs 69.78 crore (excluding GST) project involves R3Y/R6Y-level repairs and maintenance of 43 WDS6 locomotives at SAIL’s Bhilai Steel Plant over three years. This achievement highlights RITES’ expertise in providing top-tier locomotive maintenance services to major industrial clients.
The company confirmed the development through a regulatory filing to the stock exchange on January 2, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining transparency.
