Under the Ministry of Coal, NLC India Limited (NLCIL) and GRIDCO Limited inked a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in Bhubaneswar for 400MW in Stage-1 and 400MW in Stage-2 of NLCIL’s projected Neyveli Talabira Super Critical Thermal Power Station (NTTPP) in Odisha. With this deal, NLCIL has committed its entire 2400 MW capacity of the Neyveli Talabira Super Critical Thermal Power Station Stage-1.
The Power Purchase Agreement was signed by Mr. M Venkatachalam, Director/Power, NLC India Limited and Mr. Umakanta Sahoo, Director (T&BD), GRIDCO Limited in the presence of Mr. M. Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), NLC India Ltd and Mr. Trilochan Panda, Managing Director, GRIDCO Limited and Mr. Gagan Bihari Swain, Director (F&CA), GRIDCO Limited.
