Navaratna PSU, NLC India Limited, reported an 86.2% decline in consolidated net profit to Rs. 114.23 crore for the March quarter due to lower income. Last year, the company registered a consolidated profit of Rs. 829.67 crore.
In a statement issued by the PSU, it said that its profit after tax for the year ended March 31st, 2024 was at Rs. 1,868 crore over Rs. 1,426 crore for the year ended March 31st, 2023, registering a growth of 31%. NLC India deals in mining and power generation.
