Raj Kumar Chaudhary has been appointed as the new CMD of NHPC Limited. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday.
PESB held a meeting on March 7, 2024. The decision of recruiting Mr Chaudhary as the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) was taken in the meeting.
Mr. Chaudhary is currently serving as the Director (Technical & Projects), NHPC Limited.
The post of CMD will be taken over by him after vigilance clearance and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
