Chandigarh: The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has taken several major initiatives to strengthen and modernise the state’s education system, aiming to raise learning standards to global levels and improve access to modern teaching technologies.
The government has emphasized that education is a key driver of development, and continuous reforms are necessary to prepare students for a technology-driven future.

The Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has placed strong focus on improving:

Punjab has also introduced a modern digital education ecosystem, including:

In addition, the government has launched “School of Eminence” institutions to provide students with high-quality education comparable to private schools.
